Gaining Experience, Giving Back: A Look at Internships with AAEC
At the Academic and Advice Enrichment Collective (AAEC), the team believes in the power of learning by doing. This semester, two Strategic Communications Interns are supporting AAEC’s mission to guide high school students through their college preparation journey.
But what does it really mean to be an intern?
Internships provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, apply their skills in real-world settings, and contribute to causes that make a difference.
In their roles, the Strategic Communications Interns are responsible for managing social media, writing newsletters, and sharing resources that empower students to feel confident about their futures.
Interning at AAEC offers a rewarding opportunity to strengthen professional skills—such as
writing, marketing, and communication—while supporting students on their path to higher
education. The interns contribute to AAEC’s efforts to help students navigate the college
application process, from essay writing to accessing academic resources.
The team looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and share helpful information throughout the semester.
Stay tuned for more updates from the AAEC intern team!
